Box Office: ‘Aquaman’ Tops ‘Dark Knight Rises’ To Become DC Comics’ Biggest Movie

Aquaman earned another $7.35 million (-28%) in its sixth weekend. Even if you presume that yesterday’s sneak previews of The LEGO Movie 2 had something to do with the tiny drop (and the 101% jump on Saturday), that’s still a fine hold for the DC Comics flick. The Jason Momoa/Amber Heard underwater adventure has now earned $316.5m domestic, putting it right between Iron Man 2 ($312m in 2010) and Iron Man ($318m in 2008) along with the inflation-adjusted total of Man of Steel ($291m in 2013/$318m adjusted).
